We hope you all enjoyed the long weekend and the accompanying sunshine. Stocks didn’t take much of a break yesterday, as the US market hit its highest level in over a year.

At next Tuesday’s Conference you’ll hear from our Zurich Group colleague Guy Miller as he outlines his team’s view of the current global macroeconomic backdrop. Our own Chief Investment Officer, David Warren, will follow Guy and describe how this backdrop interacts with our top down investment process to guide our asset allocation decisions. We’ll then dive into single asset classes with a panel of portfolio managers to cover both an equity and bond perspective.

Terence Deacon will then take the stage and help to reconcile these investment themes with our funds and investment performance. Finally, a panel will discuss the importance of a strong governance framework for investments, particularly with the arrival of the IORP II directive.

As always, if you wish to discuss anything in further detail, please do get in touch.
