Markets continued to grind higher last week, as the S&P 500 hit a major milestone. The definitions of Bull and Bear markets are not clearly defined, but the major index is now up over 20% since its low of mid-October last year, signifying in some quarters the start of a new bull market. Irrespective of your view, the important thing is that we have seen both strong absolute and relative performance so far in 2023 and markets have rebounded from the lows of last year.
