Global markets rallied strongly, recovering all the ground lost in the previous week’s decline. The MSCI World index finished up 3.1% for the week, bringing 2020 YTD return to -3.8%, as US jobs numbers reported the largest one month gain in history.
The week closed out the best quarters for the Dow and S&P 500 since 1987 and 1998 respectively. For the S&P 500, the last few months produced a near-complete turnaround from the first quarter, leaving the index with a -3.1% return for the first half of the year. CLICK HERE
